Trenchless Drain Lining

No-Dig Drain Relining & Repairs: Structural Solutions Without the Disruption

Discovering a damaged, leaking, or collapsed drain used to mean one thing: heavy machinery, deep trenches, and major disruption to your property. At TAB Drainage, we utilize advanced trenchless technology to fix the problem from the inside out.

We assess every situation individually to provide the most effective and budget-friendly repair for our customers. By evaluating the specific damage, we ensure you only pay for the exact level of repair required—nothing more, nothing less.

Our Trenchless Repair Methods

Depending on the severity and scale of the damage, we employ two primary methods of CIPP (Cured-In-Place Pipe) technology to restore your drainage system:

  • CIPP Patch Lining: If your drain has an isolated defect—such as a single crack, a displaced joint, or localized root damage—a full repair isn't always necessary. We insert a localized, resin-impregnated fiberglass patch over the specific defect. Once cured, it creates a seamless, watertight seal, offering a highly cost-effective and rapid fix.

  • Full-Length Structural Liners: For drains suffering from extensive damage, multiple fractures, or severe degradation, we install a full-length structural liner. We invert a resin-saturated felt tube through the entire damaged run. As it cures and hardens, it bonds to the inside of the old pipe, effectively creating a brand-new, structurally sound "pipe within a pipe."

The Benefits of Trenchless Relining

Our modern relining techniques offer significant advantages over traditional excavation:

  • Zero Surface Disruption: We access the pipes via existing manholes. There is no need to dig up your beloved driveway, ruin your manicured lawn, or close off pathways.

  • Saving Internal Floors: Drains often run directly beneath buildings, including extensions, conservatories, and living rooms. Relining allows us to fully repair these pipes from the outside, completely avoiding the nightmare of excavating your internal flooring.

  • Cost and Time Effective: Because there is no heavy excavation or site reinstatement required (like relaying tarmac or paving), relining is significantly faster and often far more economical than digging.

  • Superior Flow: The new CIPP liner is incredibly smooth, meaning water flows more efficiently than it did through the original clay or concrete pipe, actively preventing future blockages.

Built to Last: 50+ Year Expected Lifespan

We don't just patch things up temporarily; we provide permanent structural repairs.

The resins and materials we use in our patch and full-length liners are incredibly durable. Once cured, the new pipe is fully structural, highly resistant to chemical corrosion, and completely impenetrable to tree roots. Because of this superior durability, our relining materials carry an expected lifespan of over 50 years, giving you total peace of mind that your drainage system is secure for decades to come.
